Pacific Supply is a building materials distributor seeking Class A or B drivers to deliver materials to jobsites and customers. The role requires a valid CDL and a clean driving record, with company-sponsored training possible to advance from a material handler position.

Qualifications

• Must have valid CDL license and clean driving record.
• Valid CDL permit with a clean driving record and interested in company sponsored training.
• Career goals of becoming a CDL driver, valid driver's license and ability to complete company sponsored training program while working as a material handler.

Responsibilities

• Delivers building materials to jobsites and customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Loads, unloads, and stages materials as directed by yard and delivery orders.
• Operates yard equipment, including forklifts, safely and efficiently.
• Receives and carries out customer order instructions, including maps and materials, per delivery sequence.
• Ensures timely and accurate delivery to customers and jobsites.
• Completes pre-jobsite assessment prior to unloading the company truck.

Job Description

Candidates will be responsible for delivering building materials using a company vehicle and requires the candidate have ability to do heavy lifting. Essential qualifications include the following:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assists yard personnel in pulling and staging of inter-company orders, loading of trucks, and the receiving of materials.
• Operates yard equipment, including forklifts, safely and efficiently.
• Expedites the loading and unloading of customer and company vehicles.
• Receives and carries out customer order instructions, including maps and materials, according to the delivery sequence.
• Ensures timely and efficient delivery to customers and jobsites.
• Completes pre-jobsite assessment prior to unloading company truck at jobsites.
• Delivers material to jobsites and customers in a safe and efficient manner according to safety guidelines established.
