Coastal Elite Pro in Sparks, NV is seeking a professional truck driver to transport freight between service centers and customers, support sales, and ensure efficient operations. You will operate tractor-trailer configurations, perform inspections, manage loading with forklifts and hand trucks, and communicate with dispatch to promote reliable service.

This role requires a safe driving record, DOT compliance, and the ability to work independently or in a team.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL with endorsements for doubles/triples, hazmat and tanks.
• At least one year of recent driving experience or completion of a driver development course.
• Acceptable MVR and DOT compliance.
• Ability to perform basic math, lift up to 100 pounds, work independently or in a team.
• Strong communication and ability to follow instructions.

Responsabilités

• Operate tractor-trailer combinations, including doubles, triples, and straight trucks.
• Perform daily safety and pre-trip inspections.
• Hook/unhook trailers and handle freight using equipment like forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
• Secure freight with straps/ropes; repair damaged freight as needed.
• Complete documentation; adhere to hazardous material regulations; communicate with dispatch and customers.
• Promote customer service and seek additional business opportunities.
• May perform tire chaining or duties of road driver or dock employee as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailer combinations, including doubles, triples, and straight trucks.
• Perform daily safety and pre-trip inspections.
• Hook/unhook trailers and handle freight using equipment like forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
• Secure freight with tools such as straps and ropes; repair damaged freight when needed.
• Complete documentation, adhere to hazardous material regulations, and communicate with dispatch and customers.
• Promote customer service and seek additional business opportunities.
• May perform tire chaining, or duties of road driver or dock employee as operationally necessary.

Qualifications & Skills

• Class A CDL with endorsements for doubles/triples, hazardous materials, and tanks.
• At least one year of recent driving experience or completion of a driver development course.
• Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and compliance with DOT regulations.
• Ability to perform basic math, lift up to 100 pounds, and work independently or in a team.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions.

Working Conditions

Driving in various weather conditions, exposure to noise, vibration, dust, diesel fumes, and DOT-regulated hazardous materials. Physical and operational demands include extended sitting, climbing in/out of trucks, and working in diverse environments.
