  • Able to lift up to 60–90 pounds and work in multi-temperature environments.

Responsibilities

  • Check in drivers and receive delivery receipts.
  • Verify all returned items to be re-entered into inventory.
  • Reconcile damaged goods and communicate quality‑related concerns.
  • Communicate with inventory personnel about quality-related concerns.
  • Communicate with drivers and managers regarding delivery challenges.
  • Assist in coordinating vehicle repairs and maintenance as required.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Job description

Position Purpose

Food and food service delivery drivers fulfill a critical role in the country’s food supply chain. Our delivery drivers not only ensure customers’ products arrive on time and in good condition, but they are also the face of our company – building lasting relationships with our customers!

As a Coordinator, Driver Check‑in, you will play a vital role in ensuring our drivers are checked‑in accurately and all returned products are processed accordingly. You will be responsible for checking in delivery drivers, ensuring the accuracy of the check‑in and returns process, communicating and interacting with customers, vendors and co‑workers professionally, and performing any duty assigned to best serve the company.

Responsibilities
  • Check‑in drivers upon returning from deliveries; receive driver’s receipts of the day’s customer deliveries, reconcile cash and checks, and place them in the safe; examine and verify all returned items to be re‑entered into inventory.
  • File Department of Transportation (DOT) logs and company vehicle maintenance reports.
  • Reconcile damaged goods and returned items and re‑enter items into the appropriate categories within the inventory system.
  • Communicate with inventory personnel over quality‑related concerns.
  • Communicate with drivers, department managers, and others regarding delivery challenges.
  • Assist in the coordination of vehicle repairs and maintenance as required.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Schedule

Tuesday – Saturday, 1 pm – 9 pm

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
  • 6+ months in a warehouse environment.
  • Administrative support experience performing basic math and computer data entry skills.
  • Pass post‑offer drug test and criminal background check.
  • Must be able to work the scheduled / assigned times and required overtime for the position.
  • Able to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
  • Able to lift, stack, and/or pull products off shelves, as well as replenish products from various heights weighing between 10–35 pounds and generally up to 60–90 pounds, depending on the location, throughout shift.
  • Able to work in multi‑temperature environments (e.g., cooler, freezer and dry).
