Job summary

XPO is hiring a CDL Driver in Arkansas to safely operate tractor-trailer combinations for daily pickups and deliveries across urban routes. The role requires a valid Class A CDL, a clean DOT record, and the ability to work day or night shifts.

You will keep accurate logs, adhere to company policies, and maintain punctual attendance while handling paperwork and ensuring on-time deliveries. The position is on-site at our Arkansas operation with a focus on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL).
• Safe driving record and history.
• Must pass a DOT drug test.
• Must pass a company-paid DOT physical and pre-hire test.
• Available to work a flexible schedule up to 12-14 hours per day including day, night and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a tractor-trailer combination, including doubles.
• Daily pick up and deliveries.

What you’ll need to succeed as a CDL Driver at XPO

• To pass a company-paid DOT physical and pre-hire test (physical essential functions)

What you’ll do on a typical day

• Safely operate a tractor-trailer combination, including doubles
• This position is responsible for daily pick up and deliveries
• The position is time sensitive, requires driving in city traffic
• Maintain punctual, regular, and reliable attendance
• Demonstrate the Company’s core values and complies with all Company policies and procedures
• Must keep DOT Driver’s Logs and Daily Trip Reports
• Must handle equipment paperwork accuratelyMay perform other duties as assigned by management

CDL Drivers are required to

• Lift objects of various shapes, sizes and weights (up to 50 lbs. frequently and greater than 75 lbs. occasionally); move and position a converter dolly with an average weight/pull force of approximately 128 lbs.
• Safely climb in/out of a tractor cab/trailer
• Sit for extended periods of time in a truck tractor and/or on a forklift; safely operate heavy equipment and a forklift
• Walk and stand for extended periods of time on various surfaces that may be uneven or slippery (including working outdoors in inclement weather)
• Reach (including above your head), bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat and kneel
• Operate a tractor-trailer combination up to 11 consecutive hours, in all types of weather, while safely transporting hazardous/non-hazardous material
