Qualifications

• Two years in deliveries preferred, open to entry level.
• High School diploma or GED is required.
• CDL Class A or B with Hazmat endorsement is required.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Familiarity with local area and surroundings.

Responsibilities

• Complete delivery of customer orders as per the delivery ticket.
• Deliver a wide range of items to various addresses and routes.
• Move products from truck to customer storage areas.
• Adhere to routes and time schedules.
• Load, unload, inspect, and operate delivery vehicle.
• Complete logs and reports accurately.
• Maintain documentation for delivered merchandise.
• Prevent damage to equipment and maintain cleanliness of delivery gear.
• Follow safety guidelines and company policies.
• Respond to customer inquiries to ensure satisfaction.
• May work in the warehouse occasionally.
• Handle additional duties or special projects as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Completes delivery of customer's order as outlined by the delivery ticket
• Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes
• Conveys products and materials from truck to customer's designated storage areas
• Follow routes and time schedules
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle
• Complete logs and reports
• Ensures accurate documentation for all delivered merchandise
• Prevent damage to company equipment, facilities and products; and ensures proper cleanliness of delivery equipment at all times
• Follows applicable safety guidelines, government regulations, company's safety manuals, and or stated safety policies
• Follows up with all customer inquiries, to ensure appropriate response is made and customer is satisfied
• May be requested to work in the warehouse on occasion
• Additional duties or special projects as assigned.

Ideal Candidate

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in in deliveries preferred, but open to entry level candidates
• High School diploma or GED
• CDL Class A or B with Hazmat
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Have a familiarity with location and surrounding areas

Physical Requirements

Employees must regularly lift and/or move objects up to 100 pounds. Frequently required to sit, stand, walk and lift.
