Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals seeks a Class B CDL Driver to deliver and recover equipment, tools and supplies to customer worksites in Westfield, IN. You will operate a flatbed or roll-back truck across urban, suburban and rural settings, and must navigate tight construction zones safely.

Preferred candidates have a High School Diploma or equivalent and a valid Class B CDL with a clean driving record. We offer steady hours with overtime potential and a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees.

• Previous experience driving, loading and unloading tools or equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and recover a variety of equipment, tools and supplies to and from customer worksites.
• Drive a flatbed or roll-back truck in urban, suburban and rural settings; navigate construction zones safely.
• Maintain records and ensure proper handling and safety of equipment.

Job Description Summary CDL Driver (Class B)

As a Class B CDL driver, you will deliver and recover a variety of equipment, tools and supplies to and from the customer worksite. This role will drive a flatbed or roll-back truck in a variety of conditions, including urban, suburban, rural settings. Ability to drive safely in tight settings such as construction zones is required.

Education or experience that prepares you for success:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Valid Driver’s license with Class B CDL certification & safe driving record

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities you may rely on:

• Previous experience driving, loading and unloading tools or equipment
• Mechanical skills to troubleshoot issues on-site
• Customer service focused attitude
• Detail orientation to properly maintain records
• Bi-lingual (Spanish or other) may be preferred in some locations

The physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors when required by the job.
