Job summary

Imperial Brady in Scranton, PA is hiring a CDL B Delivery Driver to transport and deliver products to designated customers on a timely basis. You will learn routes, verify orders, and complete required documentation to ensure accurate delivery.

You will perform vehicle inspections, follow safety policies, and provide excellent customer service, while supporting warehouse tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• CDL B driver with at least 1 year of delivery route experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Age 21+ and valid CDL with clean driving history.
• Ability to obtain DOT medical certification and pass a road test.
• Forklift certification preferred or obtainable upon hire.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Basic computer skills for transportation systems and data entry.
• Basic math skills to verify orders and reconcile documents.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with loading/unloading, stocking inventory, and general warehouse tasks.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Driver - CDL B

We are in search of a CDL B Delivery Driver to join our growing team. This role will be responsible for transporting and delivering products to designated customers.

Responsibilities

• Operate a straight truck, box truck or CMV (26,001 +pounds) totransport products to customer locations in assigned delivery route.
• Learn and optimize routes, ensure correct order fulfillment, and maintain proper documentation (BOLs, manifests, packing slips, HazMat summaries).
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections (DVIR), report issues immediately, and maintain cleanliness inside and out of assigned vehicle.
• Follow all OSHA, DOT, FMCSA and company policies, complete required safety training and properly handle HazMat materials.
• Wear company apparel as required, maintain a neat appearance and effectively communicate with dispatch, customers, and management.
• Take personal ownership of all customer needs with speed and urgency. Maintain the highest level of customer service.
• Assist with preparing orders, loading/unloading, stocking inventory, and general warehouse tasks as needed.
• Additional duties as assigned.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• A minimum of 1 year of experience as a CDL B driver, delivery route experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Age 21 or older.
• Valid commercial driver's license and safe driving history; Class A or B required.
• Ability to obtain a DOT medical certification and pass a road test and Clearinghouse Query.
• Prior forklift certification preferred, or ability to obtain upon hire.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Basic computer skills to operate transportation systems, dispatch applications or perform data entry tasks.
• Basic math skills to verify orders or reconcile delivery documents.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines and work overtime as needed.

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly requiredlift upto 50lbs and push/pull 100lbs. Regularly sit in a truck and drive a company vehicle. Ability to walk, climb, kneel, stoop and balance frequently.

Driving

Driving on a regular basis on behalf of the company is an essential function of this role. A valid driver's license and safe driving history is required.

Warehouse

Ability to work inside the warehouse when needed.
