Job summary

White Cap is seeking a CDL B Driver to join our logistics team in Austin, Texas. This on-site role involves coordinating and delivering products to customer jobsites, with potential forklift loading/unloading and strict adherence to DOT regulations for safety and paperwork accuracy.

The ideal candidate will have a current Class B CDL with endorsements and at least one year of driving experience; forklift certification is a plus, and Spanish language proficiency is preferred.

Qualifications

• Have a current Class B Commercial Driver's License issued by the state with all relevant endorsements (Hazardous Materials endorsement to transport hazardous materials is a plus).
• Two years of commercial driving experience compliant with FMCSA and DOT regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers products to customer jobsites.
• May use a truck-mounted forklift (Moffett or Piggyback) to unload shipments at customer jobsites.
• Follows DOT regulations in vehicle maintenance and operates with safety.
• Ensures manifests and all paperwork are accurate.
• May assist warehouse staff with pulling and preparing orders for shipment.

• Coordinates and delivers products to customer jobsites.
• May use a truck-mounted forklift (Moffett or Piggyback) to unload shipments at customer jobsites.
• Follows DOT regulations in accordance with vehicle maintenance and operates with a strong sense of safety.
• Ensures that manifests and all paperwork are accurate.
• May assist warehouse staff with pulling and preparing orders for shipment.
• Has a minimum of one year of CDL Driving experience and required state license.
• Performs other duties as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Have a current Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) issued by the state in which the candidate resides with all the relevant endorsements required for the type of equipment being operated (i.e., Hazardous Material to transport hazardous materials that require placarding)
• Two years of commercial driving experience compliant with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and DOT regulations preferred
• Forklift certification preferred
• Spanish language proficiency
