Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is hiring for a Class A CDL Driver in Kentucky. You will deliver and recover a variety of equipment to customer worksites, driving Flatbed or lowboy trailers across urban and rural areas. Safety and adherence to regulations are essential in all assignments.

Job Description Summary

Class A CDL Driver

Responsibilities

• Deliver and recover a variety of equipment, tools and supplies to and from the customer worksite.
• Drive a Class A truck hauling equipment on a flatbed (dovetail) or RGN (lowboy) trailer in a variety of conditions (urban, suburban, rural).
• Drive safely in tight settings such as construction zones.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license with CDL and acceptable driver’s record.
• Prior training or experience with similar commercial equipment preferred.
• Experience driving flat-beds, RGN/lowboy, dovetail trailers.
• Ability to troubleshoot and make minor repairs to equipment and vehicle at job sites.
• Customer service attitude.

Physical Demands

The physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors as required by the job. Base Pay Range

$25.71 - $38.56 per hour, with starting rate may vary based on location, education, training, and experience.
