Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to deliver and recover equipment to customer worksites. You will operate flatbeds, RGN/lowboy, or dovetail trailers in urban, suburban, and rural settings while prioritizing safety.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or equivalent and a clean CDL with a good driving record, plus experience with similar commercial equipment and customer service aptitude.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid CDL with acceptable driving record.
• Experience with flatbeds, RGN/lowboy, dovetail trailers.
• Ability to troubleshoot minor equipment/vehicle issues.

Sunbelt Rentals–the fastest growing rental business in North America–is seeking a Class A CDL Driver. As a Class A CDL driver, you will deliver and recover a variety of equipment, tools and supplies to and from the customer worksite. This role will generally drive a Class A truck hauling equipment on a flatbed (dovetail) or RGN (lowboy) trailer in a variety of conditions, including urban, suburban, rural settings. Ability to drive safely in tight settings such as construction zones is required.

Preparation for success

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Valid Driver’s license with CDL License and acceptable driver’s record

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities you may rely on

• Prior training and/or experience with similar commercial equipment preferred
• Experience driving flat-beds, RGN/lowboy, dovetail trailers
• Ability to troubleshoot and make minor repairs to equipment and vehicle at job sites
• Customer service attitude

Physical Demands

The physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors when required by the job.

Compensation

Base Pay Range: $27.07 - 40.59. Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
