Job summary

Core & Main is seeking a delivery driver in Washington state to support local communities with essential infrastructure products. The role involves loading, delivering, and unloading materials, while maintaining customer relationships and accurate delivery records.

Requirements include at least 1 year of Class A driving and 2+ years of delivery experience, with forklift experience a plus. Expect DOT-compliant operations and a home-evenings schedule, with competitive pay and comprehensive

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers, assist with unloading, and ensure delivery tickets are issued correctly.
• Load truck with daily deliveries and unload at customer sites.
• Serve as the primary interface with customers at time of delivery.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report DOT issues.
• Plan and adjust routes for efficiency and traffic conditions.
• Assist warehouse staff with pulling/packaging orders as needed.

Here our team members are family.Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key AccountabilitiesDelivers products to customers which may include assistance with unloading, ensuring delivery of ticket with material, etc. Serves as primary interface with the customer at point of delivery. Contacts customers if they are not present at delivery location.Loads truck with daily deliveries. Unloads product at customer’s site.Performs pre-trip and post-trip inspections in accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and Core & Main policies and procedures. Reports vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage before and after route. Fuels truck as needed.Resolves customer service issues.Complies with all DOT (Department of Transportation) standards and regulations.
