Qualifications

• 6 months of CDL experience operating a 26-foot box truck or larger.
• Valid CDL Class A or B license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Drive a 26-foot box truck and/or Semi safely in designated areas.
• Inspect the truck before and after shifts and maintain cleanliness.
• Load and unload freight and supplies as needed.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Drive a 26-foot box truck and/or Semi as needed in and around the site or on public roads
• Inspect the truck before and after the shift
• Maneuver the truck safely throughout the facility within the designated lanes and areas
• Maintain housekeeping within assigned truck and defined areas
• Inspect equipment to be moved to verify condition
• Load and unload freight and supplies or assist in loading and unloading the truck
• Work safely and adhere to all safety policies and practices

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• 6 months of Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or Class B experience operating a 26-foot box truck or larger
• A current valid CDL Class A or Class B driver’s license and clean driving record over the past 2 years
• A current valid and clean driving record

It’d be great if you also have:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience moving multiple types of trailers (tanks, vans, flatbeds)
