Job summary

White Cap is seeking a CDL A or B Driver to coordinate and deliver products to customer jobsites within the Wilmington, NC region. The role emphasizes safe driving, accurate paperwork, and adherence to DOT regulations while supporting on-site operations.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of CDL driving experience, a valid state license, and a willingness to operate forklift for unloads when required. This position offers Monday–Friday shifts with competitive benefits and growth

Qualifications

• Forklift certification preferred
• Spanish language proficiency preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver products to customer jobsites.
• May use a truck-mounted forklift to unload shipments.
• Follow DOT regulations and maintain safety in operations.
• Ensure manifests and paperwork are accurate.
• Assist warehouse staff with pulling and preparing orders when needed.
• Perform other duties as needed.

A CDL Driver at White Cap…

• Coordinates and delivers products to customer jobsites.

• May use a truck-mounted forklift (Moffett or Piggyback) to unload shipments at customer jobsites.

• Follows DOT regulations in accordance with vehicle maintenance and operates with a strong sense of safety.

• Ensures that manifests and all paperwork are accurate.

• May assist warehouse staff with pulling and preparing orders for shipment.

• Has a minimum of one year of CDL Driving experience and required state license.

• Performs other duties as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Have a current Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) issued by the state in which the candidate resides with all the relevant endorsements required for the type of equipment being operated (i.e., Hazardous Material to transport hazardous materials that require placarding)

• Two years of commercial driving experience compliant with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and DOT regulations preferred

• Forklift certification preferred

• Spanish language proficiency
