White Cap is hiring an OSHA-focused CDL driver to deliver products to customer sites in California. This role emphasizes safety, accuracy of paperwork, and adherence to DOT regulations while supporting warehouse staff as needed.

The position offers an attractive weekday schedule with paid holidays and a comprehensive benefits package. CDL A or B with the appropriate endorsements is required, and forklift certification is preferred. Spanish language skills are a plus for some routes.

Qualifications

• One year of CDL driving experience and a valid state CDL license are required.
• Two years of commercial driving experience with FMCSA/DOT regulations is preferred.
• Forklift certification is preferred for unloading shipments.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate and deliver products to customer jobsites.
• May unload shipments with a truck-mounted forklift (Moffett or Piggyback).
• Adhere to DOT regulations and maintain vehicle safety records.
• Ensure manifests and paperwork are accurate.
• Assist warehouse staff with pulling and packing orders as needed.

A CDL Driver at White Cap...

• Coordinates and delivers products to customer jobsites.
• May use a truck-mounted forklift (Moffett or Piggyback) to unload shipments at customer jobsites.
• Follows DOT regulations in accordance with vehicle maintenance and operates with a strong sense of safety.
• Ensures that manifests and all paperwork are accurate.
• May assist warehouse staff with pulling and preparing orders for shipment.
• Has a minimum of one year of CDL Driving experience and required state license.
• Performs other duties as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Have a current Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) issued by the state in which the candidate resides with all the relevant endorsements required for the type of equipment being operated (i.e., Hazardous Material to transport hazardous materials that require placarding)
• Two years of commercial driving experience compliant with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and DOT regulations preferred
• Forklift certification preferred
• Spanish language proficiency
