    • Efficiently utilize maps and GPS to determine the most effective routes to job sites and delivery locations.
  • Equipment Maintenance
    • Perform comprehensive daily pre-trip and post-trip inspection reports (DVIR). Immediately report maintenance issues to the Plant Manager.
  • Compliance and Documentation
    • Complete daily DOT logs via Electronic Logging Device (ELD).
    • Ensure 100% compliance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and DOT Hours of Service (HOS) laws; manage and maintain accurate electronic logs to prevent violations and ensure safe operation.
    • Accurately process all paperwork, including picking lists, bills of lading, fuel receipts, and trip reports.
  • Loading and Unloading
    • Hands‑on responsibility for the loading and unloading of insulation rolls and accessories at job sites and customer offices, ensuring delivery accuracy and material integrity throughout the process.
  • Customer Relations
    • Provide professional customer service during deliveries, ensuring customers sign for receipts and collecting COD charges when specified.
  • Communication
    • Act as a liaison between the field and the plant by reporting any job site issues to the Plant Manager for immediate customer resolution.
  • Housekeeping & Support
    • Keep work areas, aisles, and storage zones clean, organized, and free from debris, empty pallets, or packaging waste.
    • Assist production and shipping personnel as needed to ensure on‑time order fulfillment and efficient workflow.
    • Handle any hazardous or special materials under supervision and in accordance with safety regulations.
