Mondelēz International in Indianapolis, IN is hiring a CDL-Class A Driver to support routes across Indiana, including night shifts and extended hours. This position requires strict adherence to safety protocols and DOT regulations, with long hours and overnight starts.

Responsibilities include pre-trip checks, logging deliveries, and completing receipts and maintenance records. Real ID or federal ID is required for access to base facilities; DSD experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have a CDL-Class A license and at least two years of proven safe driving experience.
• Have a valid REAL ID driver's license, U.S. passport, or federal ID for base access.
• This role will service a military base facility requiring federal ID to access.
• Preferred direct store delivery experience (DSD).
• You must pass our drug test, MVR, and background check.
• FMCSA's Clearinghouse Registration required.
• Customer-oriented attitude and safe driving history.
• Minimum one year of safe driving experience with no serious driving convictions.
• DOT requirement to check the last 10 years.
• Familiarity with OSHA and DOT regulations and local, state, and federal requirements.
• Basic understanding of temperature-controlled food transportation.
• Proficiency with a smartphone and ELD for logging; able to log deliveries.

What you need to know about this position:

The position you have applied for is represented by a labor union. Possible schedule, but subject to change based on customer demand: Monday- Saturday (5 days per week), 10-12 hours per day. Start time between 11:00 PM to 2:00 AM, (when work is completed). Total: 40/50 hours per week. Principal location: 8645 E 25th Street, Indianapolis, IN. Delivering to states: IN.

Responsibilities and duties:

• Ensure compliance with procedures and regular safety checks of your equipment(tractor, trailer, pallet jack, etc.) to always guarantee safety.
• Completes daily field service activities, including preparing receipts, truck logs, and maintenance records.
• Performs all duties as scheduled by Route Manager or Dispatch.

Job Specific Requirements:

• Must have a CDL-Class A license and having at least two years of proven safe driving experience.
• Have a valid REAL ID driver's license, U.S. passport, or federal ID.
• This role will service a military base facility where it is a federal requirement to have a valid REAL ID driver’s license, U.S. passport, or federal ID to access.
• Preferred direct store delivery experience (DSD).

What You'll Need as a Driver CDL:

• Customer-oriented attitude, providing excellent support to key customers.
• Minimum one year of safe driving experience with no serious driving convictions.
• DOT requirement to check the last 10 years.
• Familiarity with Occupational and Safety Health Act (OSHA) and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, as well as local, state, and federal requirements.
• Basic understanding of temperature-controlled food transportation.
• Proficiency in using a smart phone and electronic logging device (ELD) for logging positions and driving times.
• Able to use a scanner and log deliveries.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing routes and working schedules.
• Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions and varying temperatures.

#ushourly Salary and Benefits: Hourly payrate: $29.65/hour The position offers healthcare benefits, retirement benefits, and paid time off, in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement. Some of these benefits have eligibility requirements.
