Payrate

Hourly payrate: $30.05. Branch Incentive Plan (BIP) bonus.

Schedule & Location

• Possible schedule, open availability subject to change with customer demand.
• Principal location: Greensboro, NC.
• Load type: interstate.
• Experience: at least 1 year of driving experience with CDL Class A.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with procedures and regular safety checks of equipment (tractor, trailer, pallet jack, etc.).
• Complete daily field service activities, including preparing receipts, truck logs, and maintenance records.
• Perform duties as scheduled by Route Manager or Dispatch.

Qualifications

• Must have a CDL Class A license and at least one year proven safe driving experience.
• Preferred direct store delivery (DSD) experience.
• Pass drug test, motor vehicle record (MVR), and background check.
• FMCSA Clearinghouse registration required.
• No serious driving convictions in the last 10 years (DOT requirement).
• Familiarity with OSHA and DOT regulations.
• Basic understanding of temperature‑controlled food transportation.
• Proficiency using a smartphone or tablet and electronic logging device (ELD) to log positions and driving times. Ability to use a scanner and log deliveries.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing routes and working schedules.
• General knowledge of vehicle mechanics to communicate problems and perform basic repairs if needed.
• Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions and varying temperatures.
• Customer‑oriented attitude, providing excellent support to key customers.
