Job summary

White Cap in California is seeking a CDL A/B Driver to deliver products to customer jobsites and support warehouse operations. The role emphasizes safe driving, compliance with DOT rules, and accurate paperwork.

The driver may use a forklift onsite and will join a growing team with excellent benefits and stability. Ideal candidates have a valid CDL, at least 1 year of CDL driving experience, and a willingness to work in a fast-paced distribution environment with a focus on safety and customer

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL with endorsements.
• Minimum 1 year of CDL driving experience.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety practices.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Spanish language proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver products to customer jobsites.
• May operate a truck-mounted forklift to unload shipments.
• Follow DOT regulations and maintain safety standards.
• Ensure manifests and paperwork are accurate.
• Assist warehouse staff with order pulling and packing.
• Other duties as needed.

• Coordinates and delivers products to customer jobsites.
• May use a truck-mounted forklift (Moffett or Piggyback) to unload shipments at customer jobsites.
• Follows DOT regulations in accordance with vehicle maintenance and operates with a strong sense of safety.
• Ensures that manifests and all paperwork are accurate.
• May assist warehouse staff with pulling and preparing orders for shipment.
• Has a minimum of one year of CDL Driving experience and required state license.
• Performs other duties as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Have a current Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) issued by the state in which the candidate resides with all the relevant endorsements required for the type of equipment being operated (i.e., Hazardous Material to transport hazardous materials that require placarding)
• Two years of commercial driving experience compliant with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and DOT regulations preferred
• Forklift certification preferred
• Spanish language proficiency

$22.80-$31.90 Hourly
