Job summary

Juniper Landscaping, Inc. is seeking an Agronomy Technician in Wimauma, FL to safely apply fertilizers and IPM practices across landscape properties. You will diagnose turf issues, mix and apply products, and keep precise records of materials used in accordance with federal and state regulations.

The role emphasizes safe operation of equipment, adherence to label instructions, and strong customer communication to maintain service quality and retention for our growing landscape team.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of IPM and turf/ornamental care.
• Ability to follow fertilizer and pesticide label instructions.
• Maintain accurate records of products used and work orders.

Responsibilities

• Identifying, diagnosing, and treating turf and ornamental issues as they arise.
• Applying fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides and insecticides as needed to lawns, shrubs and plant material in accordance with label instructions and safety procedures.
• Preparing and mixing products according to label instructions and product specifications.
• Ensuring safe operation of tools and equipment and adhering to safety standards.
• Maintaining cleanliness of vehicle and equipment.
• Maintaining accurate records of products used.
• Completing all required correspondence regarding work orders.
• Retaining customers through rapport and meeting expectations.
• Using hand tools, power tools and IPM equipment to perform duties.
• Performing miscellaneous duties as assigned.
