Gosnold, Inc. is hiring a Driver for Wareham, MA to transport clients to aftercare and treatment-related activities. A current Massachusetts Driver’s License is required. The role supports recovery goals and requires safe driving of multi-passenger vans.

Flexibility in shifts is needed; some days/evenings may vary due to transport needs across Western MA. This is a full-time, 40-hour position with a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Transport clients to aftercare placements, treatment appointments, recreational activities, and from referral points to the program site.
• Ensure compliance with road and vehicle safety and maintenance regulations.
• Interact with clients in a positive manner to support recovery plans.
• Participate in required educational and in-service training programs, including CPR and First Aid.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

SUMMARY:

The Driver is responsible for the company vehicles to transport clients to aftercare placements, treatment related appointments, recreational activities, and from referral points to the program site. Must have a Current valid Massachusetts Driver’s License.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Experience driving a variety of vehicles including multi-passenger vans.
• Working knowledge of Massachusetts’s traffic laws.
• Ability to relate effectively with patients in a treatment setting.
• Knowledge of basic treatment or twelve-step concepts and ability to support basic recovery goals.
• Positive report from Registry of Motor Vehicles on Driver Record Check.
• Comply with all road and vehicle safety and maintenance regulations.
• Interact with clients in a positive manner to support recovery plans.
• Participate in required educational and in-service training programs, including CPR and First Aid.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
