Job summary

Buell Fuel is seeking a 2nd Shift Fleet Fueling Driver to safely deliver fuel to customer fleet vehicles across Utica and Little Falls. This role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and customer service while maintaining fuel records and adhering to DOT and company regulations.

Qualified candidates have 2+ years in fuel delivery, a CDL with HazMat and Tanker endorsements, and current medical certification. Benefits include health insurance, 401(k), and paid vacation in a family-owned environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of fuel delivery driving experience.
• CDL with HazMat and Tanker endorsements required; current Medical Certification.
• Knowledge of DOT safety and transportation regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operate fuel delivery trucks to transport and dispense fuel at customer locations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
• Maintain precise fuel inventory and delivery documentation.
• Adhere to all DOT, federal, state, and company safety standards.
• Safely handle hazardous materials using proper PPE.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to ensure timely service.
• Conduct routine vehicle maintenance and report issues promptly.
• Provide courteous, professional service and assist in training new drivers as needed.

• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged sitting while operating delivery vehicles.
• Regular lifting, bending, and exposure to outdoor conditions and fuel vapors.
