Covenant Living at Inverness in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Driver to transport residents to medical appointments and community activities. You will assist residents onto and off the van and ensure safe, courteous service.

Maintain daily van checklists, monitor fuel, and report any hazards. The role emphasizes safety, reliable transportation, and respectful interaction with residents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL may be required.
• Minimum 2 years driving/transport experience.
• Ability to operate van safely and assist residents.
• Clearance of vision and mobility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Drive the van on scheduled appointments and activities.
• Assist residents onto/off the vehicle and to destination.
• Notify supervisor of any required repairs to the vehicle.
• Complete daily van checklist and check gas before trips.
• Monitor and comply with vehicle inspection schedule.
• Keep driveways/walkways safe; report hazards to supervisor.
• Clean interior and exterior of van weekly.
• Maintain professional, courteous resident interactions.

Join us!*This position is responsible for transporting residents to and from medical appointments and to the community for admission from local hospitals, as well as activity outings in a safe and courteous manner and other requests as deemed necessary.**ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:*** Drive the van on scheduled appointments and activities.* Assist the residents onto and off the vehicle and to point of destination if required.* Notify their supervisor of any required repairs to the vehicle.* Complete the checklist on the van at the beginning of each day and check the gas on the van before each trip.* Monitor and comply with vehicle inspection schedule.* Keep facility environment safe by removing unsafe items from driveways and walkways. Report broken or hazardous objects to your supervisor.* Clean interior and exterior of van weekly.**EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:*** **Required Degree:** High School Diploma or Equivalent* **Certificate(s):** Valid Driver’s License and CDL License, if applicable* **Experience:** 2+ Years**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:*** Sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office/community setting.* Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time.* Ability to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist.* Ability to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight up to 50 lbs.* Ability to operate various equipment base on department and weather conditions* Engaging in repetitive movements of wrists, hands, and fingers – typing and/or writing.* Clarity of Vision + For near visual acuity Clarity of vision at approximately 20 inches or less (i.e., working with small objects or reading small print), including use of computers. + For Far visual acuity, Clarity of vision at 20 feet or more.
