Job summary

Isabella County Transportation is seeking a driver to transport passengers safely and efficiently. You will pick up and drop off passengers at designated destinations and assist those who are elderly or disabled, including use of a hydraulic lift or ramp.

Responsibilities include completing all paperwork accurately and ensuring proper securement of wheelchairs and mobility aids used by ICTC passengers. A mandatory pre-employment, random, and post-accident drug/alcohol screening per FTA applies.

Qualifications

• Must pass DOT/FTA drug and alcohol screening.
• Experience assisting elderly or disabled passengers.
• Ability to assist passengers on/off the vehicle including wheelchair lift/ramp.
• Accurate, legible completion of necessary paperwork.

• Assist elderly and/or disabled passengers on/off the vehicle, including using the hydraulic lift or ramp.
• Complete necessary paperwork accurately and legibly.
• Secure wheelchairs, mobility devices, walking aids, bikes or strollers used by ICTC passengers.

Job description

Drivers will be required to submit to pre-employment, random, and post-accident drug and alcohol screens (including marijuana)in accordance with the FTA.

Drivers are responsible for transporting passengers in a safe, efficient and courteous manner.

• Picking up and delivering passengers to the appropriate destinations.
• Ability to assist passengers that are elderly and/or disabled on and off the vehicle which may include using the hydraulic lift or ramp.
• Complete necessary paperwork accurately, legibly and in full.
• Responsible for proper securement of wheelchairs, mobility devices, walking aide, bikes or strollers used by ICTC passengers.

Pay: From $18.72 per hour / Shift Differential Pay / Signing Bonus
