Job summary

Transcat, a leading calibration and compliance services provider, seeks a delivery driver to service customer locations across the region. You will drive the company vehicle, load/unload items, collect signatures, and assist with shipping and receiving while maintaining records and reporting issues.

Ideal candidates have at least 3+ years of driving experience with a clean record and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• 3+ years driving experience with a valid driver’s license and acceptable driver history.
• Must be detail oriented.
• Education: High school diploma or GED or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Drive company vehicle to pick-up and/or drop off equipment at customers’ locations.
• Document customer orders and instructions.
• Load and unload delivery vehicle.
• Collect customer signature on receipt for pick-up or delivery.
• Clean company vehicle as necessary.
• Coordinate with manager for repairs and routine maintenance.
• Resolve and document customer complaints or issues.
• Interact with customers during deliveries and pick-ups.
• Assist with shipping & receiving as needed.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Driving company vehicle to pick-up and/or drop off equipment to customers place of business
• Document customer orders and order instructions
• Load and unload delivery vehicle
• Issue or obtain customer signature on receipt for pick-up or delivery
• Cleans company vehicle as necessary
• Monitor routine maintenance for company vehicle and coordinate with manager if necessary repairs are needed
• Resolve and document customer complaints or issues
• Routinely interact with customers as deliveries and/or pick-ups are made
• Assist with shipping & receiving as needed
