Responsibilities:Safely operate a flat-bed tractor-trailer (for CDL Class A) or flat-bed straight truck (for CDL Class B) to transport building materials to our customersPrepares, receives and provides appropriate documentation for the delivery or pick up of productsTarp cargo in inclement weatherMaintain DOT travel logs according to Federal and State regulationsInspect truck before and after tripReport any issues or incidents to SupervisorMust maintain professional appearance wearing assigned uniform; as well as great customer service when dealing with our customersPrevious experience in truck driving or other related fields; minimum of three year verifiable tractor-trailer experienceAbility to handle physical workload, to include heavy lifting, ability to apply force to tension/strap bar to secure load at each stopMust be able to ascend/descend in a tractor-trailer cab and flatbed trailer, at each stopFlat-bed and tarping experienceMust have basic math and reading skillsConstantly works in outdoor weather conditionsStrong work ethicAble to pass a DOT-required Medical Examination (Medical Card)Employment and Driving records must be satisfactory to meet the company requirements (MVR, etc.)
