Job summary

Titan Virginia Ready Mix is seeking high-energy drivers to join our team at facilities across Virginia, including Norfolk, Richmond, Culpepper, Fredericksburg, Sterling, Springfield, and Clear Brook. As a Ready Mix Driver, you will operate a truck safely, load and deliver perishable product, perform pre/post-trip inspections, and maintain quality customer service while following regulations.

This role requires a valid Class B CDL, a clean driving record, and the ability to pass background

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record.
• Professional and courteous attitude toward co-workers, supervisors, and customers.
• Ability to pass pre-employment process, including background check, DOT physical, drug screen, and MVR.
• Ready-mix industry knowledge or related industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate truck in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and company regulations.
• Efficiently load and deliver perishable product to customer, providing quality customer service.
• Complete required pre and post trip inspections reporting necessary maintenance required.
• Operate truck to receive load, evaluate slump, and drive to job site.
• Safely maneuver truck on job site, attach chutes to discharge material, and clean truck to minimize concrete buildup.
• Complete all forms, tickets, and required paperwork in a timely manner.
• Keep inside and outside of truck clean.
• Communicate with dispatch, maintenance, and plant management to facilitate the flow of information required to provide good customer service.
• When not performing driving duties assist with plant maintenance, cleanup, and other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Required Skills:

• Valid Class B CDL and ability to maintain a clean driving record

• Ability to pass pre-employment process, including criminal background check, DOT physical, drug screen, and Motor Vehicle Report
• Ready-mix industry knowledge or related industry a plus

Working Conditions:

• Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, early mornings, and overtime
• Work outdoors with exposure to extreme heat and cold and other outdoor environmental conditions
• Operate equipment, tools, and controls, performing repetitive movements with hands, wrists and feet
• Frequent reaching, climbing (up and down the truck several times a day), stooping, kneeling, crouching and sitting
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs., multiple times a day
