TRIO-Community Meals in Montgomery, AL is seeking a skilled driver to join our team. You will transport a variety of goods to multiple locations each day, while ensuring safety and DOT compliance.

The Role at a glance

We are looking to add a skilled, experienced driver to our TRIO-Community Meals team in Montgomery, AL. As a driver, you will transport a variety of goods to various locations each day.

What you’ll be doing

• Transporting materials to and from assigned destinations in a safe and effective manner, complying with DOT rules and regulations, as well as state and city traffic laws.
• Complete thorough inspections of any utilized company equipment, before and after each trip.
• Keep open communication with dispatch to notify of any issues or delays on the route.

What we’re looking for

• Must-haves:
  • A valid state driver’s license for commercial vehicles and/or a medical card from an approved DOT medical examiner.
  • An acceptable driving record and excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Nice-to-haves:
  • At least one year’s experience driving commercially.

Compensation Range

$16.00/hr.
