Job summary

Turtle is hiring a Driver for a full-time role based in Milford, CT. The position requires operating a 26' box truck or van, performing local deliveries, and maintaining safe, organized warehouse operations.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, obtaining signatures, inventory checks, and ensuring OSHA-compliant practices. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, a valid DOT card, and at least 1 year of driving experience.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid DOT card.
• Minimum 1 year driving experience required.
• Valid driver’s license with no driving violations in past 3 years.
• Ability to climb and lift a minimum of 70 lbs with or without accommodation.

• Execute local deliveries and obtain authorization signatures.
• Ensure receipt, coordination and safety of goods through the warehouse.
• Ensure products are stocked correctly and safely.
• Maintain equipment in a neat, clean and orderly fashion.
• Operate equipment safely and in compliance with OSHA standards.
• Assist in inventory accuracy and cycle counts; perform aisle assessments.

About the Role

The Driver will be responsible for driving a 26' box truck or van ensuring the safety of self and others while driving.

What You’ll Do:

• Load and unload cargo
• Execute local deliveries and obtain authorization signatures
• Ensure the receipt, coordination, and safety of goods coming through the warehouse
• Ensure products are stocked correctly and safely
• Maintain all equipment in a neat, clean and orderly fashion.
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently, while complying with OSHA and company standards.
• Assist in inventory accuracy and cycle counts. Ensure proper stock rotation. Preform aisle assessments and assignments.
