About the Role

Ensures the safe and timely delivery of material to the customer and returns to assigned area in a timely manner for additional loads. This is not an over-the-road truck driving job and require climbing in and out of the truck throughout the day. Shift is 7 am–7 pm with some flexibility on start times.

What You'll Accomplish

• Practice and promote safety, including assessing risks, performing authorized activities, and using appropriate PPE.
• Report to work with required PPE as directed, properly fill out time/load sheets, log book, vehicle condition reports, and perform required pre-trip inspections.
• Deliver material as specified, maintaining good public relations with customers.
• Maintain the appearance of the truck, proper tire pressure, fluid levels (oil, hydraulic, coolant, fuel), and perform minor repairs as needed.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure safe operation.
• Ensure that safety, compliance, and environmental requirements are followed at all times.
• Complete all necessary paperwork and assist with plant work as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies, promoting a culture of safety.

What We're Looking For

Required Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.

Required Work Experience: 1 year of commercial driving experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required Training/Certifications: Chauffeur's license or CDL.
