Overview

Tower WAV has been providing wheelchair accessible transportation in the Los Angeles area since May 2019. The program emphasizes safety and high quality service.

Compensation and Benefits

• Earn money from day one. Vehicle, gas, maintenance, insurance, and mobile phone are provided at no cost.
• Start at $19.00/hour plus 100% of tips.
• Weekly pay.
• Full‑time evening shifts available. All shifts must include at least one weekend day.
• Part‑time Saturday/Sunday evening and overnight shifts available.
• Paid overtime.
• Eligible to participate in the Health Insurance Program.
• Paid time off and paid training.
• Earn $200 referral bonuses when a referred candidate is hired.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide transportation to wheelchair users.
• Safely drive and operate the vehicle.
• Follow all traffic laws and regulations.
• Exhibit excellent customer‑service orientation.
• Use a mobile device for routing information to pick up passengers and drive to destinations.
• Assist wheelchair passengers as needed, including operating wheelchair ramps and securement systems; some passengers may weigh up to or exceed 400 pounds.

Basic Requirements

• Authorized to work in the United States.
• At least 23 years old (for insurance purposes).
• Valid California driver’s license with a minimum of 2 years of U.S. driving history.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Successfully pass pre‑employment background and drug tests.
• Uber or Lyft ride‑share driving experience is a plus.

Candidates who do not meet the minimum requirements will not be considered.
