The Golden Hog is seeking a reliable, full-time Driver to safely transport and deliver merchandise between assigned company locations and support daily warehouse operations in a fast-paced grocery and food-service environment.

The ideal candidate will have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and knowledge of local routes. You’ll load/unload merchandise, verify deliveries, and assist with inventory while maintaining accurate documentation.

Description

Driver Job Description:

The Golden Hog is seeking a reliable, full-time Driver to safely transport and deliver merchandise, products, and supplies between assigned company locations. This role is responsible for completing scheduled deliveries and pickups, loading and unloading merchandise, verifying orders and delivery documentation, maintaining vehicle safety, and supporting daily warehouse operations to ensure accurate and timely distribution.

The ideal candidate is dependable, punctual, organized, and familiar with local delivery routes and safe driving practices. This position also supports the Warehouse team with inventory organization, product handling, storage, and general warehouse duties as needed in a fast-paced grocery and food-service environment.

Requirements

Driver Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
• Previous experience as a Delivery Driver, Warehouse Driver, Local Delivery Driver, or similar transportation role preferred.
• Knowledge of local routes, traffic regulations, and safe driving practices.
• Ability to safely load, unload, transport, and handle merchandise while preventing damage or loss.
• Ability to verify deliveries, maintain accurate records, and follow assigned routes and schedules.
• Willingness to perform vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Ability to perform physical warehouse duties, including lifting and moving packages up to 50 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Willingness to assist with warehouse organization, inventory, receiving, and general operational tasks as needed.
• Dependable, punctual, organized, and able to work independently while maintaining effective communication with the team.
• Availability to work a full-time schedule, five days per week with two rotating days off, including weekends and holidays based on operational needs.
• Bilingual English and Spanish preferred, but not required.
