Job summary

Naniq Global Logistics - Kenai is seeking a professional truck driver to deliver freight on a scheduled route in Kenai, AK. You will safely operate company vehicles, unload cargo at each stop, and provide excellent customer service with precise paperwork.

Responsibilities include maintaining logs, inspecting vehicles, and coordinating with dispatch. A valid license and clean record are required; CDL may be needed for some routes. Benefits are included with paid time off and insurance options.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; DOT Medical Card preferred.
• CDL may be required depending on vehicle type and route.
• 1+ year of delivery or transportation experience preferred.

Job Summary:

Naniq Truck Drivers are the face of our company. You will deliver freight to customers on a scheduled delivery route in a safe and efficient manner. Professionalism and accuracy is essential to our customers. Our drivers check and scan each pallet, delivering accompanying paperwork to the customer. At each stop on the route, you will off-load items using a hand truck and ramp and interact with customers.

Naniq is a third-party logistics company dedicated to providing the most innovative solutions for the Multinational Logistics Corporations (MLCs) we serve. We enable the MLC to deepen customer relationships by applying our expertise across many verticals (ocean, air, road, final mile, etc.). Through our vast network of contacts and partners, we offer a buffet of complex services that most MLCs are unable to easily offer on their own. Acting as the MLC, Naniq is able to capture incremental profit and deepen relationships with shippers – all to the benefit of the partnered MLC.

Pay Range:

$23 -$24/HR DOE

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record and DOT Medical Card
• CDL may be required based on vehicle type and route
• 1+ year of delivery or transportation experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of road safety and defensive driving
• Able to use a smartphone, GPS, and basic delivery apps
• Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in all weather conditions
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Must pass drug screening and background checks, which include employer, customer, and/or SIDA background checks
• Must have the legal right to work in the United States

Physical Requirements:

Frequent sitting for prolonged periods of time, stepping in and out of tractor cabs, hand-eye coordination, and good vision. Occasionally exposed to bright or dim lighting conditions, whole-body vibration when driving the truck.
