STA Family of Companies is seeking a part-time school bus driver in Johnston, IA. You will transport students along established routes, perform pre- and post-trip inspections, and adhere to safety standards while maintaining a professional vehicle appearance.
Requirements include a clean driving record, the ability to obtain a CDL, and passing a background check; minimum 21 years old and 5 years of verifiable driving history. Split shifts with Mon-Fri schedule and local management support.
Come join our team! As a school bus driver, you will have the support of a dedicated, local management team and the training needed to perform your job safely, and with care. Bus drivers are responsible for the safe delivery of students to and from school along set routes, adherence to school bus safety and bus stop safety standards, and daily vehicle inspections, among other duties. Candidates must have a clean driving record and be able to pass a background check.
