Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to traffic laws and company policies.
• Load and unload merchandise, ensuring proper handling and securing of products to prevent damage during transit.
• Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to meet scheduled delivery times.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, reporting any mechanical issues or maintenance needs.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery confirmations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse personnel, and customers regarding delivery status and any unforeseen delays.
• Ensure the cleanliness and general maintenance of the assigned company vehicle.
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines during product handling and transportation.
• Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, including packing or organizing products.
