Job summary

Oneida Nation is seeking a transit driver to provide safe, reliable transportation to the community and surrounding areas in Wisconsin. Responsibilities

This position is responsible for providing safe, reliable, and courteous transportation services to the Oneida community and surrounding areas. It ensures the timely transport of passengers while maintaining compliance with traffic laws, safety regulations, and departmental policies.

Duties include operating transit vehicles, assisting passengers with boarding and exiting, performing pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections, and completing accurate trip documentation.

Continuation of this position is contingent upon funding allocations.

Qualifications

• Must be at least twenty‑five (25) years of age or older. Applicants aged fifty (50) and older are exempt from the high‑school requirement.
• High School Diploma, HSED Diploma, or GED Certification (or exempt if 50+).
• A valid Wisconsin CDL (Commercial Driver's License) with an A, B, or C endorsement.
• A valid Fed‑Med Card.
