Job summary

Cordialsa USA is seeking a Driver to join the Distribution team serving the Maryland/DMV territory. The role ensures safe, timely delivery of frozen, refrigerated, and dry products while maintaining product quality and cold chain integrity.

You will support customer service, collections, product returns, and route operations, representing Cordialsa USA professionally at customer locations and adhering to all safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid state driver's license with clean MVR.
• 1–2 years in commercial driving or last‑mile delivery.
• Food/beverage or refrigerated delivery experience preferred.
• Experience with refrigerated vehicles and cold chain procedures preferred.
• Familiarity with GPS and route optimization systems.

Responsibilities

• Load, organize, secure, and deliver products per routes and invoices.
• Execute daily routes using GPS and Roadnet.
• Maintain cold chain and monitor vehicle temperatures.
• Verify quantities, SKUs, condition, invoices, and POD documentation.
• Obtain signatures or ePOD and process customer payments when needed.
• Complete cash reconciliations and safeguard payments.
• Receive and document damaged or credit items for return.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and report issues.
• Keep vehicles and delivery areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Communicate feedback and opportunities to Sales/Operations.
• Support on additional routes and refrigerated/dry deliveries as needed.

Location: Maryland – Territory

Position Summary

The Driver works with the Distribution team serving the Maryland/DMV territory. This position is responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate delivery of frozen, refrigerated, and dry products while maintaining product quality and cold chain integrity. The Driver also supports customer service, collections, product returns, and route operations while representing Cordialsa USA professionally at customer locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Load, organize, secure, and deliver products according to assigned routes, customer requirements, and invoices.
• Execute daily delivery routes using GPS and routing systems such as Roadnet.
• Maintain cold chain integrity and monitor vehicle and refrigeration temperatures throughout the delivery process.
• Verify product quantities, SKUs, condition, invoices, and proof-of-delivery documentation.
• Obtain customer signatures or electronic Proof of Delivery (ePOD) and process customer payments when required.
• Complete daily cash reconciliations and safeguard collected payments.
• Receive, document, and return damaged or credit-authorized products to the warehouse.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and report mechanical, safety, or refrigeration issues.
• Maintain assigned vehicles, equipment, and delivery areas in a clean, organized, and safe condition.
• Communicate customer feedback, delivery issues, product concerns, and commercial opportunities to the appropriate Sales or Operations team.
• Provide support on additional routes and assist with refrigerated or dry deliveries as business needs require.
• Comply with applicable traffic laws, DOT/FMCSA regulations, OSHA requirements, and Cordialsa USA safety policies.

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid state driver's license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• 1–2 years of experience in commercial driving, delivery, route distribution, or last-mile delivery.
• Food and beverage, CPG, or refrigerated delivery experience preferred.
• Experience with refrigerated vehicles, temperature monitoring, and cold chain procedures preferred.
• Familiarity with GPS, route optimization systems, handheld scanners, tablets, and ePOD systems.
• Strong organizational, communication, and customer-service skills with the ability to work independently.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Requirements

• Ability to safely lift, carry, push, and pull products weighing approximately 50–75 lbs.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb in and out of truck cabs/trailers, and perform repetitive physical movements throughout the workday.
• Ability to work in freezer environments approximately -10°F to 0°F and in varying outdoor weather conditions.
• Ability to drive for extended periods and comply with applicable DOT hours-of-service requirements.
• Ability to safely handle frozen, refrigerated, and dry products and accurately complete cash, documentation, and return procedures.
• Must maintain a satisfactory driving record and comply with all company safety, vehicle, security, and product-handling requirements.
