Job summary

Turtle is hiring a Driver in Somerset, NJ for a full-time, union position with a 4am start, Monday–Friday days. You will operate company vehicles within the assigned area, drive safely, and deliver to customers while following OSHA standards.

The role includes loading and unloading cargo, signing receipts, maintaining equipment, and supporting inventory. Turtle offers comprehensive union benefits, weekly pay, holidays, retirement options, and ongoing education.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid CDL Class A or B license; Class A preferred.
• DOT Medical Card required.
• Forklift certification a plus.
• Minimum 2 years of professional driving experience.
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to climb and lift at least 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload cargo.
• Execute local deliveries and obtain authorization signatures.
• Ensure receipt, coordination, and safety of goods through the warehouse.
• Ensure products are stocked correctly and safely.
• Maintain all equipment in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently, while complying with OSHA and company standards.
• Assist in inventory accuracy and cycle counts; ensure proper stock rotation.

About the Role

The Driver will be responsible for driving a company vehicle throughout the assigned geographic area and ensure safety of self and others while driving.

What You'll Do

• Load and unload cargo

• Ensure products are stocked correctly and safely.
• Maintain all equipment in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently, while complying with OSHA and company standards.
• Assist in inventory accuracy and cycle counts. Ensure proper stock rotation. Perform aisle assessments and assignments.

What You'll Bring

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid CDL Class A or B license required. Class A preferred.
