Job summary

Veolia North America, LLC is seeking a Driver to deliver trailers equipped with mobile water treatment equipment to customer sites regionally and across North America. You will operate company-owned or leased tractors, adhere to DOT rules, and support logistics with safe, on-time deliveries.

You will collaborate with Field Service, Sales, and customers while maintaining safety logs and performing vehicle inspections. A CDL-A with Hazmat/Tanker endorsements is required.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Attention to detail in logs and inspections.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
• Sound judgment and decision-making under DOT rules.

Responsibilities

• Deliver trailers with mobile water treatment equipment to regional sites and occasionally across North America.
• Assist in moving equipment to customer sites, repair facilities, or service centers.
• Set up/start mobile treatment equipment and provide customer instructions where needed.
• Collaborate with Field Service, Sales, Logistics, and customers to perform duties safely.
• Comply with DOT, government regulations and company policies.
• Maintain logs of driving hours per DOT Hours of Service.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and ensure vehicle safety.
• Take on additional duties as assigned.

Job Description

Job Summary

The Driver delivers trailers customized with mobile water treatment equipment to customer sites regionally and occasionally throughout North America, utilizing company-owned or leased tractors. Drivers operate leased, late-model, state-of-the-art tractors with 24-7 roadside coverage by the fleet team.

Duties & Responsibilities

• The Driver delivers trailers customized with mobile water treatment equipment to customer sites regionally and occasionally throughout North America utilizing company-owned or leased tractors


• Assists in local movement of equipment to customer sites, repair facilities or other company facilities, or within the service center compound


• Some deliveries require set-up/start-up of standard mobile water treatment equipment, make minor repairs, or provide instructions to customers


• Professionally conducts company business while working with Field Service Representatives, Sales, Logistics, and our customers


• Complies with all government, DOT, and company guidelines, regulations, and laws


• Maintains accurate logs of driving hours as required by DOT HOS


• Operates tractor-trailer and equipment in a safe manner


• Performs pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure safety and compliance


• Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma, GED, Homeschool Certification, or international equivalent to a HS Diploma


• 2 years of tractor-trailer, multistate driving experience in all weather conditions


• CDL-A Driver's License with Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements before hire


• Clean driving and safety record
