Job summary

Metz Culinary Management / Nutri-Serve Food Management in New Jersey seeks a Receiver/Driver to pick up and drop off food, supplies, bank deposits, and paperwork within the district. The driver uses their personal vehicle, with days and hours set by the Food Service Director.

This is a 10-month position that may require lifting up to 50 lbs and a background check. The role may also support food prep and deliveries as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Previous driving experience is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of local roads and traffic regulations.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Ability to lift and carry items if the role involves deliveries.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays if required.

• This position requires the employee to use their personal vehicle
• This position reports directly to the Food Service Director

On a day-to-day basis, the driver will pick up and drop off all necessary food, supplies, bank deposits, and paperwork within the district. The scheduled days and hours can be determined by the FSD according to vendor delivery days/times.

The position may also call upon the employee to help prepare foods, put away deliveries, and sweep and serve food if needed.

This position is a 10-month position, following the district calendar, and has the summer months off.
