Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Beverly Hills is seeking a dedicated Driver to provide safe, timely transportation for residents to appointments and outings, while ensuring comfort and vehicle safety.

You will assist residents getting in and out, perform pre-trip inspections, keep logs, and uphold safety standards. CPR certification and a clean driving record are required, with strong communication and calmness in emergencies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 21 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• CPR certification required.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.
• Ability to remain calm in emergencies.
• Ability to operate wheelchair lift and assist residents.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe transportation to appointments and outings.
• Assist residents in and out of vehicles and to destinations.
• Maintain focus on safe driving at all times.
• Conduct pre-trip and monthly vehicle inspections.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety equipment.
• Complete required driving logs and documentation.
• Report resident changes in condition.
• Follow OSHA, infection control, and safety standards.
• Assist with activities when not driving.
