Trio-Community Meals in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking a skilled driver to transport a variety of goods to multiple locations each day. You will ensure safety and compliance with DOT rules while delivering materials.

The role requires inspecting equipment before and after trips, maintaining open communication with dispatch, and delivering excellent customer service while managing multiple tasks. Must have a valid state driver’s license for commercial vehicles or a DOT medical card, a clean driving

Qualifications

• A valid state driver’s license for commercial vehicles and/or a DOT medical card from an approved DOT medical examiner.
• An acceptable driving record and excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks.
• At least one year of experience driving commercially.

Responsibilities

• Transporting materials to and from assigned destinations in a safe and effective manner, complying with all DOT rules and regulations alongside state and city traffic laws.
• Complete thorough inspections of any utilized company equipment, before and after each trip.

The Role at a glance:
