Job summary

Seventy Times Seven Wellness Mission is seeking a transportation driver who will safely move staff and clients using company vehicles. The role involves assisting with luggage, maintaining a professional image, and performing daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure cleanliness and safety.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and the ability to follow route instructions and use GPS systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Clean driving record with annual check.
• Sound knowledge of road safety regulations.
• Working knowledge of local roads and routes.
• Ability to utilize maps, GPS systems and car manuals.
• Effective communication skills.
• Punctual and reliable.
• Must pass Maryland background check and pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Transport staff and clients safely in company vehicles.
• Assist with loading and unloading of luggage, products, and materials.
• Maintain a professional image and attitude towards clients and co-workers.
• Complete daily vehicle pre-trip and post-trip inspections and document cleanliness.
• Assist clients and patients as needed to safely complete the transfer.
• Adjust travel routes to avoid traffic congestion.
• Inform management of any issues with tickets against company vehicle.
• Ensure company vehicle is parked in authorized areas to avoid towing.
• Provide accurate time records of vehicle use.
• Report accidents, injuries, and vehicle damage to management.
• Must understand instructions in English (written and spoken).
• Must complete activity logs and vehicle reports accurately.
• Must operate GPS devices and cell phones.
• Perform all duties as assigned by Seventy Times Seven Wellness Mission.
• Must be physically able to step up/down steps and secure clients for transport.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Transporting staff and clients utilizing company vehicles in a safe and professional manner.
• Assisting with the loading and offloading of luggage, products, and materials.
• Maintain a professional image and attitude towards clients and co‑workers.
• Complete daily vehicle pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections and document and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
• Assist clients and patients as needed to safely complete the transfer.
• Adjusting travel routes to avoid traffic congestion or road construction.
• Promptly informing the company of any issues with tickets against the company vehicle during work hours.
• Ensuring that the company vehicle is always parked in areas that permit parking in order to avoid towing.
• Providing accurate time records of the company vehicle’s coming and goings.
• Reporting any accidents, injuries, and vehicle damage to management.
• Must understand instructions in English (both written and spoken).
• Must be able to accurately complete activity logs and vehicle reports.
• Must be able to understand and operate GPS devices and cell phones.
• Perform all duties as assigned by Seventy Times Seven Wellness Mission.
• Must be physically able to step up and down steps and safely secure clients for transport.
