Job summary

Gemini Group, Inc. is seeking a Driver to operate over-the-road company vehicles delivering finished goods and correspondence to customers. CDL license and DOT medical certificate are required, with knowledge of electronic log systems.

You will perform loading, unloading, and routine vehicle checks while complying with safety and regulatory standards. Responsibilities include handling shipping documents, maintaining records, and ensuring equipment is secure and road-ready.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate over-the-road company vehicles to deliver finished goods and correspondence to customers.
• Load/unload as needed; assist with forklift or manual handling.
• Comply with state laws, safety regulations, and traffic laws while transporting loads.
• Obtain shipping documents and signatures; maintain records as required.
• Remove and store empty skids; perform routine vehicle checks (oil, water, air, tires).
• Follow TS/IATF16949, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 policies and procedures.

Reports To:Logistics Manager
Status:Full-Time/Hourly Nonexempt (40 hrs/week; additional hours as needed to support organization and individual goals.)

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
• DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate
• Knowledge of Electronic Log Systems

Job Summary:
To operate over-the-road company vehicles finished goods and correspondence to customers.

Essential Job Functions:

• Loads or assists in loading a truck with materials. Unloads or assists in unloading truck by using forklift or by hand.
• Operates company vehicles, according to state laws. Transports load over required route to proper destination, observing all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Ensuring doc-locks or rear wheels are chocked off truck before unloading takes place. Remove chocks before driving away from shipping dock.
• Obtains shipping bills of lading and necessary signatures and returns completed paperwork to shipping office. Maintains any related records required.
• Removes empty skids from truck and carries to designated storage area.
• Performs miscellaneous service duties such as checking on daily basis: oil, water, gasoline, and air in tires.
• Follows all TS &/or IATF16949, ISO 14001 & ISO 9001 policies and procedures.
