Job summary

The Rehabilitation Center of Allison is seeking a PRN on-call Driver to join the friendly team in Allison, IA. You will transport residents to appointments and activities, ensuring timely and safe mobility while upholding high standards of care.

As a driver, you will maintain a clean, sanitized vehicle and follow state licensing requirements. Prior SNF driving experience is preferred, and a valid driver's license is required by Iowa law.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License; Class D Chauffeur or Class C Commercial License as required by Iowa.
• Prior driver experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting preferable.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents to and from appointments and activities.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized and safe vehicle environment for residents.

As a Driver you will assist our residents in receiving the specialized care they need. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Rehabilitation Center of Allison by transporting them to and from appointments outside of the facility, transporting residents to and from activities and functions, and ensuring a clean, sanitized and safe environment in the facility vehicle. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent, unencumbered Drivers License or other motor vehicle operator license as required by the State of Iowa. All drivers are required by state law to have a Class D Chauffeur License or a Class C Commercial License. Prior Driver experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting is preferable.
