Job summary

The Fairfield Geneva Finger Lakes, managed by Essex Hotel Management, is seeking a DRIVEN Guest Room Attendant to join our housekeeping team. You will ensure guest rooms are clean, comfortable, and inviting, and support the hotel’s high standards of cleanliness and presentation.

You will change linens, restock amenities, and respond to guest requests with professionalism while adhering to safety and sanitation procedures.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays would be beneficial

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain guest rooms to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation
• Change linens, make beds, and restock amenities as needed
• Vacuum, dust, and sanitize all surfaces in guest rooms
• Report any maintenance issues or damage to the appropriate department
• Respond to guest requests and inquiries in a timely and professional manner
• Maintain a positive and friendly attitude at all times
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment
