Job summary

Sonic Drive-In in Houston is seeking a Restaurant Team Member to take orders, prepare drinks and food, package items, and help maintain a clean, welcoming drive-in environment for guests.

This role requires flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and a teamwork mindset with friendly, clear communication to ensure fast, accurate service and guest satisfaction. Prior experience in food service is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• Ability to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.

• General knowledge of food service industry or retail operations preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Taking orders and making accurate change quickly.
• Providing food service to guests with enthusiasm.
• Packaging all menu items and checking quality and consistency.
• Preparing drinks and ice cream treats.
• Preparing food orders, cooking on the grill, operating fry station as needed.
• Cleaning the drive-in restaurant, including trash disposal, mopping, sweeping, washing dishes, wiping counters and sanitizing food areas.
