Job summary

Hydro Resources Holding seeks an experienced Drilling Rig Mechanic in Holcomb, KS to diagnose, repair, and service drilling rig components. The role requires independent work and teamwork, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to read technical manuals.

Applicants should have 5 years of relevant experience, a valid driver’s license, and be able to commute to Holcomb with relocation preferred and travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Tear down, diagnose, and replace gears, bearings, seals in Draw works, rotary tables, reduction gearboxes, right angle gearboxes, crown sheaves, etc.
• Repair clutches (manual and air)
• Rebuild mud pumps
• Must provide own tools

Drilling Rig Mechanic

We are looking for an experienced Drilling Rig Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background with drilling rig components including diagnostics, repair, and troubleshooting. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, have excellent problem-solving skills, and be able to read and interpret technical manuals. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to join a fast-paced and growing organization.

Responsibilities:

• Must know how to tear down, diagnose, and/or replace gears, bearings, and seals in Draw works, rotary tables, reduction gearboxes, right angle gearboxes, crown sheaves etc..
• Must know how to repair clutches, both manual and air.
• Must have experience with rebuilding mud pumps.
• Must have their own tools.

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• Weekends as needed
