Responsibilities

• Safely perform drilling, tripping, rig moving and maintenance operations as directed.
• Operate drill floor equipment (e.g. Iron roughneck, rotary tongs, slips, elevators, floor winches, casing power tongs).
• Maintain clear and constant communication with driller and crew.
• Participate in safety initiatives and pre-job meetings.
• Perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on rig equipment and tools.
• Prepare drill strings for operations and ensure correct counts during trips.
