Job summary

Paylocity in Chicago is seeking a 2nd shift machine operator to drill and rout panel boards. You will position panels on the machine table, ensure alignment with tooling holes, start cycles, and remove boards at cycle end.

The role requires a high school diploma and strong manual dexterity. Work hours are 3:15 p.m. – 11:45 p.m. with potential overtime; training may begin on 1st or mid-shift during the first 4–6 weeks.

Qualifications

• Good manual dexterity for handling small tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Position panels on machine table, flush and aligned with tooling holes, start operation and remove boards at the end of the cycle.
• Check processed parts against template.
• Check tool sizes, remove and replace reset tools in magazine. Replace broken tools as required.
• Obtain and put away drills, mark drills that need to be re-sharpened.
• Notify supervisor of unusual equipment or operating difficulties.
