Job summary

Fralock in Milpitas, CA is seeking a Drilling Operator to run CNC Excellon or Hitachi drilling machines for PCB manufacturing, follow production priorities, monitor quality, and assist new hires with setup.

This full-time onsite role offers a swing shift (2:00 PM–10:30 PM) with hourly pay from $23 to $28, plus benefits. A high school diploma is required and English communication is essential. You must maintain a clean, safe work area and comply with PPE and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Follow production priorities established by the Drilling Department Supervisor.
• Operate CNC Excellon or Hitachi drilling machines.
• Use calipers for board measurements and pin gauges to check materials.
• Communicate material inventory concerns and changes in production status to the Department Supervisor.
• Follow all company and departmental processes and procedures; monitor quality of work and compliance with process and product specifications.
• Assist new hires with basic setup and operations, and provide relief support on equipment and processes.
• Participate in evaluating processes, new equipment, and procedures.
• Follow all safety standards and procedures, including PPE requirements for a manufacturing environment.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area using safety standards and expectations
• Other duties as needed or assigned by supervisor.

Job Summary

The Drilling Operator operates CNC Excellon or Hitachi drilling machines to support printed circuit board (PCB) manufacturing. This position follows production priorities, uses precision measuring tools, monitors product quality, and communicates production and material concerns to the Drilling Department Supervisor. The operator also supports new hires with basic setup and operations and participates in process and equipment evaluations.

Under the supervision of the Drilling Department Supervisor, must be able to perform a variety of job duties including, but not limited to:

Preferred Skills

• A minimum of one year of printed circuit board (PCB) experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of manufacturing flex and rigid flex printed circuit boards is preferred.

Education Requirements

Physical Requirements

• Ability to pull, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to visually inspect fine detail work.

Working Conditions

• Onsite manufacturing environment involving CNC drilling equipment and moving machinery.
